I am a college student, specifically an english major, with no real aspirations for financial success. That's probably why I'm an english major. I don't like having excessive responsibilities, so instead I live on campus and work part-time at Goodwill with probably the greatest group of people ever. Being short on money, I also don't own a car, and spend most of my time commuting on foot up and back a major suburban thoroughfare. Being a pedestrian has taught me that cars turn good people into big assholes. When I was small my brother was God, and now that I'm old, he just has good taste in music. He introduced me to my favorite band Pavement. Unfortunately when Pavement was in their prime, I was still listening to Mariah Carey,so I never got to see them in concert. But to make up for it I have since seen the Jicks live twice, and would probably travel anywhere I had means to to see them again. Someday I'd like to go to England; I hear they have a lot of good music festivals there. For some reason, I've recently taken up use of the expression "sweet!", probably because when I was a kid my first little boyfriend used to say it all the time but I never did, cuz i wasn't cool enough. Oh, how I yearned to make the word come naturally to me. But now I am cool enougha (regardless of what some jerk-offs might say), so that's that. I mean, that's sweet.
